How recommendations work

We do the matching. You keep the customer.

The Matchmaker considers how someone brews, how they drink it and the flavours they enjoy. When your coffee is a good fit, the recommendation links straight to its product page on your shop.

Start with one dependable coffee. You can include up to three, ideally adding another core coffee and an optional seasonal, limited or decaf choice.

Questions

Before you take part.

Does it cost anything?

No. Basic map listings and approved Matchmaker participation for up to three coffees are free during the pilot and will remain free afterwards. There is no commission, automatic charge or obligation to purchase anything.

How long does the pilot last, and what happens afterwards?

The pilot runs until 31 March 2027. Roast & Found may introduce optional paid editorial or promotional partnerships in future, but these will always be offered separately and will never influence Matchmaker recommendations.

Will every submitted coffee be included?

Not automatically. Roast & Found checks availability, links and categories before deciding what to publish.

Can we choose where our coffee appears?

No. The Matchmaker ranks coffees using the drinker’s answers. Payment and commercial relationships do not change that order.

What happens if a coffee becomes unavailable?

Email hello@roastandfound.co.uk so we can pause, replace or remove it. We will also ask participating roasters to review their entries periodically.

Can we submit a seasonal coffee?

Yes. Tell us that availability is seasonal or limited and include any useful timing information.

How do we start?

If we have invited you to the pilot, use the coffee-submission form linked above. If you have not been invited but are interested in taking part, add or update your roastery through our map form first.
